A Gang Show is a theatrical production produced and performed by members of the Scout and Girl Guiding Movements.

The Hutt Valley Gang Show is performed every two years at the Little Theatre, Lower Hutt, Wellington. While it is called the “Hutt Valley” Show (because it is performed in Lower Hutt), HVGS is a production put on collaboratively by the Rimutaka, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Kapiti Coastal Zones of Scouts New Zealand. Members of Scouts and Girl Guiding from throughout the greater Wellington region are eligible to be part of the Show.

Last Show

Our last Show was HVGS 2010, the season for which finished on 25 September 2010. Thanks to everyone who made the Show the great success that it was: cast, behind the scenes team, funders and supporters, families and friends and our fantastic audiences! We had a fantastic experience. See you all in 2012!

Next Show

Our next Show is HVGS 2012 which will be performed from Monday 24 September to Saturday 29 September 2012 at the Lower Hutt Little Theatre, Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.

In Rememberence

The Hutt Valley Gang Show acknowledges with great sadness the loss of Ian Smith who passed away on 15 September 2010 after his battle with cancer. Ian was involved in every one of our Shows, including this one and is our "Mr Gang Show". He more than anyone else is responsible the continued existence and success of HVGS. He will be greatly missed.
